Vernon Bradeen Jr died unexpectedly in his sleep, surrounded by his  family on January 12, 2018. Vern was 51, way to young to leave us.  With great sadness  his family and multitudes of friends mourn his early passing.

Vern's legacy was his love for his wife, children and the countless young men he mentored through his many years as a Scout Master of Troop 254 in Warren. A tribute to him are those 13 young men he helped earn the Scouts highest honor, an Eagle Badge, one of which was his son Brian.

There will be a benefit dinner held on Sunday, February 18th from 3:00 - 6:00PM at the Rock Harbor Brewery located at 5 Payne Avenue in Rockland. There will be a spaghetti supper, 50/50 raffle and silent auction. Music will be provided by the Jukebox Bullies. Monies raised will go towards funeral expenses and day-to-day expenses for the family during their time of need. Cost is $5pp or $15 for a family of four
