Bookkeeper Part-time at Belfast Free Library

The Belfast Free Library is seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) Bookkeeper/ Administrative Assistant.

Qualifications for this position include:

--Associate’s degree in bookkeeping or equivalent experience

--Experience with QuickBooks accounting software

--Significant responsible experience in an office environment

--Able to use standard office equipment

--Meticulous attention to detail

--Able to interact with the public in a tactful and welcoming way

--Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Essential duties include:

--Printing checks to pay invoices

--Maintaining library’s financial records

--Producing monthly and other financial reports

--Preparing weekly deposits

--Monitoring and ordering office and library supplies

--Answering telephone inquiries

Starting rate of pay is $14.98 per hour.
