Book club to discuss 'Olive, Again' via Zoom

Jan 11, 2021

Thomaston — On Tuesday, Jan. 19, the Thomaston Intergenerational Book Club will meet over Zoom to discuss "Olive, Again" by Elizabeth Strout, which is the author’s 2019 follow-up to her Pulitzer Prize-winning book Olive Kitteridge.

On the third Tuesday of every month since 2010, the Intergenerational Book Club, a group of men and women of all ages, has come together at the library to share opinions and ideas about the selected book.

Since the pandemic, the group has been continuing to meet virtually over Zoom. All are welcome at 2:30 p.m., Jan. 19. Email Caroline at cwardnesbit@thomastonmaine.gov for more information and to be added to the email list.

In February, the group will escape the cold weather for a bit with "Beach Read" by Emily Henry. Copies will be available to borrow at the library and through interlibrary loan. Make sure to let the library know if you would like to request a copy through interlibrary loan; it can take 10 days or more for a book to arrive.

For more information, contact the library at 354-2453.
