Rockland — The Monday Night Blues series continues June 25 with Diane Blue and band with special guest Lisa Mann, playing 7 to 10 p.m. in the upstairs music room of Time Out Pub, 275 Main St. Admission will be $15 at the door.

Currently lead singer for Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters, Blue also tours with her own band. The soul-stirring vocalist, skillful harmonica player and crowd-pleasing entertainer has twice been voted Outstanding Female Singer in The Blues Audience Readers' Poll. She’s soulful and sassy performer with a strong and energetic delivery, serving up her own spin on soul, blues and R&B.

Mann is a two-time winner of the Blues Music Award for her bass playing chops, and her vocals are top-notch too. She writes the majority of her recorded material, and her songs paint pictures of a gritty (and sometimes humorous) personal experience in life, love and the not-always-pretty music business.

Upcoming in the weekly series are: July 2, Rockin Johnny Burgin Band ($10); and July 9, Juke Joint Five ($10). Doors open an hour before shows; schedule subject to change. For more information, visit and click on the Time Out Blues link; visit the Monday Night Blues Facebook page; call 593-9336; or email

Also on the website are information and ticket sales for this summer’s North Atlantic Blues Festival, set for July 14 and 15 (Advance ticket sales end July 9).
