Belyea joins Dream Local as chief revenue officer

Jan 23, 2019
Ron Belyea has joined Dream Local Digital as its chief revenue officer. He will work from his home in Florida.

Rockland — Dream Local Digital has created a leadership position for a chief revenue officer and hired Ron Belyea, formerly digital director of the Sarasota Herald Tribune in Florida and vice president and chief operating officer of VillageSoup Media in Rockland.

Dream Local, which has just celebrated its 10th anniversary and expanded to a footprint of more than 60 markets throughout the United States, recently closed a round of investment funding to expand its sales and marketing efforts. The creation of this new position is the first of several moves the company will be making in 2019 to fuel growth, according to a Jan. 21 press release from the company.

Belyea, who will remain based in Sarasota, will lead the internal sales team, and also work with media company and agency reseller partnerships throughout North America to drive revenue growth and value to partners and customers nationwide. His background combines print and digital leadership, sales and working with customers directly to grow their businesses.
