Beech Hill farm tour for children

Rockport — Coastal Mountains Land Trust will offer a children’s tour of its blueberry farm operations on Tuesday, July 24 from 10 a.m. to noon. The tour is free. Children will be able to try their hands at winnowing and raking, and see the behind-the-scenes work of a blueberry harvest. Beech Hill Preserve, at 316 Beech Hill Road, in Rockport, is a 295-acre conservation property, managed for the complementary purposes of maintaining its scenic beauty, historic value, grassland bird habitat, and organic blueberry production.
