Bartlett, Goodyear at Dowling Walsh

Rockland — Dowling Walsh Gallery, 365 Main St., will host two exhibitions in the month of August, featuring the work of Bo Bartlett and John Goodyear. They will open Friday, Aug. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. in conjunction with Arts In Rockland’s First Friday Art Walk.

Bartlett is an American realist painter with a modernist vision. In a career that spans more than six decades, Goodyear has utilized painting, drawing, light, optics, installation and heat.

Dowling Walsh Gallery is located directly across from the Farnsworth Art Museum. Gallery hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and by appointment Sundays and Mondays. For more information, visit dowlingwalsh.com or call 596-0084.
