Art exhibition opens at Bartlett Woods

Rockland — Bartlett Woods Retirement Community will open its second exhibition of work by Maine artists with a public reception Saturday, Jan. 25, from 2 to 5 p.m. Bartlett Woods is located at 20 Bartlett Drive, off upper Talbot Avenue.

The newly renovated community spaces will house paintings, tapestries, photographs and ceramics by noteworthy Midcoast artists. Organized by Friendship artist Pam Cabañas, the exhibit will be open to the public daily during regular business hours and will run through May.

Included are works by Alan Magee, Anne Heywood, Barry Tepper, Carole Sloane, Jane Herbert, Jeremy Barnard, Katharine Cartwright, Kathleen Mack, Mat O’Donnell, Nat Lewis, Sally Loughridge, Sara Hotchkiss, Tim Christensen and Cabañas.
