Art, craft options in Five Town Adult Ed

Rockport — Five Town CSD Adult and Community Education has a number of art and craft classes this fall. First up is a six-week Woodworking for Beginners class taught by Camden Hills Regional High School shop teacher Chris Felicetti at the school, beginning Wednesday night, Oct. 11.

Beginning Bead Stitching, a five-week daytime class, will begin Saturday, Oct. 14, taught by Patti Bosken.

Local art quilter Carrie Hedstrom, who work is featured on the fall brochure cover, will instruct a three-week class in Quilted Fabric Art Wall Hanging beginning Monday night, Oct. 23.

Local artist and educator Bo Smith offers two classes: Batik Workshop begins Wednesday night, Oct. 25, for three weeks; and the Gold Leafing Workshop meets for three Thursday nights beginning Nov. 30.

Other craft classes this fall include Knitting Socks, Clay Open Studio, Believe It! Drawing Class, Soapmaking, Clay Garden Planters and Pottery.
