Area hospitals announce donation locations

Apr 01, 2020

LincolnHealth, Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital continue to receive support and in-kind donations of supplies and services from the community.

In response, the agencies have now set up a dedicated team to process in-kind donations and ensure that they get to the right place at the right time to do the most good. To donate supplies or services, call 301-3950 to schedule a drop-off.

The list of needs includes N95 masks, surgical masks, gowns, surgical eyewear and gloves, among other items. The hospitals are unable to accept some items and staff can advise donors about these during the call.

Drop-off locations are: PBMC, 756 Commercial St., Rockport; WCGH, 138 Northport Ave., Belfast; LH, Family Care Center, Lower Level, 19 St. Andrews Lane, Boothbay Harbor; and LH, Webster Van Winkle Building, Lower Level (Miles Campus) - 79 Schooner St., Damariscotta.

To protect the health and safety of patients, hospitals are unable to receive any unscheduled drop-offs, so call ahead to schedule a drop-off. For larger donations or handmade items, visit mainehealth.org/donate and fill out the donation form.
