Christmas by the Sea in Camden

One of my favorite traditions at Christmas time is going to Christmas by the Sea. First, we go to the parade, (last year the kids got glow in the dark bracelets!) and then we go to Chestnut Street Baptist Church’s ‘Walk through Bethlehem.’ The kids love going to the parade and seeing the animals and hearing the Christmas story at the church. If you haven’t gone in the past, you should definitely try to go this year. It’s a weekend-long of different events. It all starts Nov. 30. For a full schedule of events you can go to,

Beltie Holiday Event

On Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m to noon, you should go spend some time at Aldermere Farm during Christmas by the Sea, going from station to station learning and playing, visiting with the calves, and making a Beltie holiday craft to take home. Shop for your holiday Beltie items, enjoy some refreshments, and learn all about how you can get involved at Aldermere Farm and the Erickson Fields Preserve! A farmers' market with Terra Optima and Half Moon Farm will be on site and baked goods will be for sale to help support the Aldermere Achievers 4-H club. Event is free!
