Owls Head — Three areas in Owls Head have been graffitied with phrases calling for the death of Governor Janet Mills.

The phrase "Kill Mills" was spray-painted in red letters on three locations.

One phrase was on the gate of Birch Point State Park. The other two were located on the pavement of Dublin Road and Ballyhac Road.

Deputy Drew Graham of the Knox County Sheriff's Office said the graffiti was called in on the morning of Jan. 18. Graham said it was likely created overnight.

Pretty close to what the hateful preacher Micheal Heath calls the Gov.

Can you imagine what Maine life would be right now if Paul LePage was still in the Blaine House?  Ho-ho-ho-ho. PHEW!!

I agree with you Jane. But it’s news I suppose? If it wasnt in the paper how many would have known?  Is that a good or bad thing?

I don’t quite understand what you are implying Richard about a church sponsoring this? Is that what you are saying?

I’m hoping the Governor of this state has hired an outside security team throughly vetted and have no ties  to these right wing extremists/ terrorists and Q conspiracists

I encourage the newspaper to consider taking this down. It is further spreading the message, glorying the deed and encouraging copycats. I could be wrong but worth your staff discussing.

Another stupid reason why we need police, hope they can catch them.

They probably didn't know how to spell 'REELECT MILLS'.

How do they know it is Janet Mills and not a local named Mills?

OMG that horrible thought on the fence of our gorgeous Lucia Beach? A sad day indeed, for me to hear this.

Yes, there are local people who belong to this group. and this was a post on their site before their prayer meeting yesterday:

"I feel that tonight God is gathering us on the eve of our hope fulfilled; much like the coach giving a final word before the team leaves the locker room to take the field."

I did notify the local authorities.   Global Prayer For US Election Integrity | 21 - Global Prayer Live
