Annual Ringing in the Season

The seventh annual Christmas by the Sea handbell concert is set for Saturday afternoon, Dec. 1.

Camden — On Saturday, Dec. 1 at 4 p.m., the First Congregational Church of Camden will host the seventh annual Ringing in the Season holiday handbell concert in the sanctuary, 55 Elm St./Route 1.

This year’s concert will feature Choral Bells of the First Congregational Church of Camden; Joyful Bells of the Belfast United Methodist Church; Penobscot Bay Ringers of Camden; and Pine Tree Academy Bell Ringers of Freeport. This concert is free of charge, with donations welcomed in support of 63 Washington Street, a Camden home for senior citizens.

Seating for the handbell concert will begin at 3 p.m. There will be pre-concert music by Richard C. Einsel at the piano starting at 3:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the music and holiday cheer of Christmas by the Sea in downtown Camden.
