Dec 04, 2019

CAMDEN — Popular Irish band Lúnasa and special guest Ashley Davis will weave music, spoken word and more in their Irish Christmas show Saturday, Dec. 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the Camden Opera House, 29 Elm St.

No-fee tickets are $30 in advance, $32 day-of-show, available at, by calling 236-3154 and at door an hour before show time. This return engagement is sponsored by Camden Maine Stay Inn and 40 Paper.

Last year, Lúnasa: An Irish Christmas sold out the opera house. This year’s show will have a special energy, as it concludes the group’s annual holiday tour. The evening will feature wonderful tunes, holiday and more, performed on a variety of traditional instruments by band members Colin Farrell, Kevin Crawford, Cillian Vallely, Trevor Hutchinson and Ed Boyd. World music singer/songwriter Davis adds vocals and storytelling.

“We have such fond memories of being with you all last year,” said Davis. “We’re looking forward to having everybody in the community there celebrating the wonderful holiday season together!”
