Adult Learning Center offers new hours, new instructors

Camden — Five Town CSD Adult & Community Education is introducing new Adult Learning Center hours along with several new instructors.

Rebecca Albright has a degree in English and previous experience working with adults in ESL at Portland Adult Education and other subjects at RSU13. She is ready for all HiSET subjects, plus college-level Reading/Writing and ESOL.

Peg Junge has a degree in business and math, with numerous years of experience working with adults at RSU13 and MCST. She is ready for all HiSET subjects, plus college-level math and digital literacy.

Brenda Hio-Hamdan has a degree in English and writing. She recently moved to Maine and has experience working with adults at RSU13. She is ready for all HiSET subjects, plus college-level Reading/Writing.

Lora Levenseler has a degree in math and is the department head at Camden Hills Regional High School. She focuses solely on everything math - high school, college, and workforce development.

Current Learning Center hours are: Monday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Learning Center at the bus barn in Camden with Brenda Hio-Hamdan; Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Learning Center at the bus barn in Camden with Peg Junge; Wednesday, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., Adult Education Office conference room with Rebecca Albright; Thursday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Learning Center at the bus barn in Camden with Brenda Hio-Hamdan; Thursday, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Math Lab at the high school, Room 219 with Lora Levenseler and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Learning Center at the bus barn in Camden with Peg Junge.
