Adult Ed offers remote classes in yoga and Pilates

Five Town CSD Adult Ed kicks off its latest spring-summer semester March 1 with new remote classes for both yoga and Pilates.

Gentle Pilates begins March 2 from noon to 1p.m. and runs for 10 weeks over Zoom. Mindful Yoga has three different options for sessions: March 3 to April 21; April 28 to June 16; and June 23 to July 28, all from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and over Zoom.

Tai Chi is offered in person at MidCoast Recreation Center from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Two sessions are offered: beginning March 3 and April 28;

Two sessions of Qigong is offered remotely over Zoom: beginning March 3 or April 28 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

A new session of Pickleball Learn to Play is offered at MRC every month for March, April, May and June.

Also beginning in March is Middle Eastern Dance, held for five weeks at the American Legion Hall in Camden, beginning March 11 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This class can be taken either live in person, or remotely via Zoom.

All in-person classes require masks, social distancing and a COVID-19 Wellness Check the day of the class.
