Midcoast lens: Fowl play

Rockport — A large group of wild turkeys, known as a gang or a rafter, was spotted in Rockport on Warrenton Street, near the Riley School Nov. 16.
The gang could be seen casually wandering the front yard, apparently unbothered by passing traffic.
Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, so all turkeys had best beware.

9 in my yard and 12 across the street from me in the morning that day here in Pen Bay Acres. They have their routine and hang out mostly in Pen Bay Acres neighborhood. I hope the future (ugh) cell tower next to Pizza Hut won't harm them in any way! Fun to see them relaxed and eating from the yards here. They are huge.
