Station 118 restaurant officially opens

Thomaston — Barbecue restaurant Station 118 is now open for business in Thomaston.
The anticipated eatery opened its doors at 11:30 a.m. July 16.
There was already a line formed at the entrance before the official opening time, and people in vehicles slowed down to sneak a peek as they drove by.
Smoke billowed out of the two outside smokers while the smell of meat filled the air.
Operators Troy Crane and Andrew Bridge worked inside to serve up slow-cooked barbecue and traditional home-made sides to the customers eating outside, along with some hard-working staffers.
A full menu can be located on the restaurant's Facebook page. Take out and dine-in options are available. Only outside seating is currently available.
