Oceanside art club online fundraiser runs through April 3

Rockland — Oceanside High School’s Art Club is holding an online fundraiser that runs through Friday, April 3. Led by instructors Mrs. Hyde and Mr. Cowan, students are planning a trip to broaden their art education by visiting galleries and museums. All money raised from the fundraiser will directly benefit the trip.

The​ auction consists of local artists, businesses and organizations who have donated gift certificates and original works of art. Visit http://bit.ly/OHSArtAuction to see what is available.

A big thank you to Kevin Malmstrom for hosting the launch of the fundraiser in collaboration with Rock City Coffee and Alexis Iammarino for her co-facilitation.

Thank you also to local business Archipelago, Atlantic Baking Co., Grasshopper, Suzukis, Cafe Miranda, and local artists Phoebe Bly, Noah Bly, Jerry Sytsma, David Paffhausen, Alexis Iammarino, Greta Van Campen and Nancy Baker for donating their gift certificates and works of art to the online auction.
