Synagogue sponsors take-out Easter meal at St. Peter’s Church

Mar 26, 2020

Rockland — Adas Yoshuron Synagogue will be providing its annual Easter Day Community Dinner at St. Peter’s Church on Easter Sunday, April 12 at 1 p.m. Instead of serving a sit-down dinner, they will be distributing a home-cooked take-out meal for pick-up at St. Peter’s, 11 White St.

When waiting in line to receive a meal, people are requested to maintain six feet of distance between themselves and others to comply with health recommendations.

For more information contact Adas Yoshuron at 594-4523,

The Church is located at the corner of White and Limerock Streets in Rockland.

Adas Yoshuron Synagogue is an unaffiliated, all-inclusive synagogue serving the Jewish community of midcoast Maine since 1912. Sabbath services are held regularly, a Hebrew School for grade-school children meets weekly, and a variety of cultural and community events take place throughout the year.

Spiritual leadership is provided by Rabbi Lily Solochek.
