Town of Rockport issues update

Mar 25, 2020

Rockport — The closure of all town departments to the public has been extended through April 8, All residents and customers should call before coming to the town office. There are no longer in-person appointments for transactions. The table in the vestibule at the town office has many forms and the drop slot in the side door of the office will receive paperwork and payments. Most of these forms can also be found on the Town of Rockport website at rockportmaine.gov.

All residents of Rockport, whether seasonal or year-round, must adhere closely to the CDC guidelines. This includes eliminating any unnecessary travel, whether local or out of state and social distancing. For those who have been traveling out of state, out of the country, or are not feeling well, stay home and self-isolate for at least 14 days.

The town has made changes to its meeting process and will continue to refine that. The public can watch the meetings at livestream.com/rockportmaine and can provide comments and questions through that platform or by email to wpost@rockportmaine.gov.
