Rockport — Six Camden Hills players are among 60 student-athletes honored by Class B North boys varsity ice hockey for 2019-20.

The region did not hold its annual high school awards banquet due to the on-going global health concerns over COVID-19, or coronavirus, but did announce the players and coaches honored by the region.

For the Windjammers, Levi Guay and Jackson Bernier were third-team all stars; Andrew Orne, fourth-team all star; Ben Wells, honorable mention; Elias Libby, second-team all-rookie team; and Quinn Brown, all-academic.

Brown, Orne and Wells are seniors, Guay a junior and Bernier and Libby sophomores. Guay and Wells are forwards, Bernier a goalie and Orne, Libby and Brown defenders.

In the region, there were six first-, second-, third- and fourth-team all-star selections, as well as six first-team all-rookie and seven second-team all-rookie selections, along with 11 honorable mentions and 12 all-academic.

Messalonskee's Dylan Cunningham was the player of the year, Presque Isle's Carl Flynn and Darren Carlise co-coaches of the year and Hampden Academy received the sportsmanship award.

This season, Camden Hills finished 11-4-3 and third in Class B North, before the Windjammers lost to No. 6 Messalonskee of Oakland 6-1 in a quarterfinal playoff encounter at the Midcoast Recreation Center in Rockport.
