Rockland City Hall closing to public

By Stephen Betts | Mar 18, 2020

Rockland — Rockland City Hall will close to the public at the end of March 18 and not reopen until April 6, the city announced.

Staff will continue to work and will take telephone calls and emails from the public. The city clerk's number is 594-0304.

General assistance will take calls at 594-0302 and will be checked and returned daily. No face-to-face interviews will be held during the shutdown.

The transfer station will remain open but person to person contact is being limited. The city asks that people only come to the transfer station once a week. The public will not be allowed in the gate house or office.

All other city buildings have been closed to the public.
