Islesboro Public Safety blotter

Oct 07, 2019

From Aug. 22 to Sept. 31, Islesboro Police Department received or responded to 54 calls for service, to include six theft complaints, nine radar details and 39 other complaints.

Public Safety Director Fred Porter reports the following activity:

Porter is investigating the thefts of two hunting stands and two hunting cameras. Any help from the community appreciated.

Officer Darren Nadeau is currently investigating the theft of a boat from the southeast end of Islesboro. The boat was recovered in Northport. Police feel it is a continuance of thefts committed in two other counties. No other information available.

No arrests or summonses were reported.

Readers are reminded that an arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceedings.
