Midcoast Forecast - September 18, 2019 PM

After a cloudy start to the week, sunshine is back in full force Wednesday with high pressure in place over the state. Temperatures remained on the cool side through the day despite the sunny weather with highs in the low 60s. The cool weather will continue into the overnight as temperatures drop into the mid to upper 30s for much of the Midcoast, prompting a Frost Advisory. Some parts of Northern and Western Maine will be colder with lows in the upper 20s to mid 30s prompting areas with Freeze Warnings. The sunny weather will continue on Thursday helping to quickly warm temperatures up to the upper 60s to near 70 during the afternoon. High pressure will continue to hold on Friday and through the weekend with continued sunny weather with temperatures and humidity gradually climbing, with highs into the 70s to low 80s. A cold front will move in from the west late Monday and into Tuesday with clouds and showers, and a slight cool down into the mid week.
