Sarah Perry

ROCKLAND — Join the Rockland Public Library on Thursday, Aug. 29, at 6:30 p.m. in welcoming Maine author Sarah Perry to discuss her memoir, "After the Eclipse," as a part of the Maine Humanities Council Read ME! summer reading initiative. There will be a read and discussion followed by a book signing.

“On the night her mother was murdered, twelve-year-old Sarah Perry was asleep in the same house. Haunted by fractured memories of that night, and by the turbulent years that follow the murder, she tracks down the truth of what really happened. Ms. Perry’s memoir of her Maine childhood, 'After the Eclipse,' is both a gripping mystery and a heart-breaking love letter to the fiercely devoted mother she lost.” – Read ME recommending author Tess Gerritsen.

The library is located at 80 Union St. This program is presented by the Maine Humanities Council in partnership with the Maine State Library. It is free and open to the public.
