"Port Clyde Sunrise" by Ed Botkin.

TENANTS HARBOR — Ed and Kay Botkin show their oil paintings and granite sculptures at the Ocean View Grange on Friday, Aug. 16, through Sunday, Aug. 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The public is invited to an opening reception on Friday, Aug. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m.

This year, Ed shows several new works of realistic oil paintings depicting Midcoast Maine. The painting “Port Clyde Sunrise” is a view of Port Clyde from the Fisherman’s Co-Op as the sun rises above the trees.

Ed also introduces his new book “Maine From an Artist’s Palette,” which shows a selection of his paintings over the past 15 years.

Kay shows her glass and granite sculptures. Her current work includes two new granite sculptures with bronze cast wind bells. Others incorporate kiln-fired glass pieces or inch-thick “dalle de verre” glass. Sculptures range in size from eight inches to four feet tall and can be used inside as well as outdoors. They are ideally suited for lawn/garden decoration or as an interesting piece of art in the home.

The Ocean View Grange is located on Route 131 between Tenants Harbor and Port Clyde. For a GPS location, use 435 Port Clyde Rd., St. George.
