Maine Water Company hires new local superintendent

Mike Ames of Hope is the new Superintendent of the Camden Rockland Division of Maine Water.

Maine Water Company has announced Mike Ames as the new Superintendent of the Camden Rockland Division.

Ames comes to Maine Water from Farley, Inc. where he gained more than 20 years of experience as a team leader and project manager.

Ames holds an associate’s degree in plants and soils from Southern Maine Technical College and lives in Hope, where he also served in the past as a select board member. As superintendent, he will lead the day-to-day operations of the water utilities serving the Midcoast communities of Camden, Rockport, Rockland, Owls Head, Thomaston, Warren, Union, Waldoboro, Tenants Harbor and Vinalhaven.
