Spruce Head — The Spruce Head Community Hall & Historical Association will host a potluck supper and guest speaker at the Community Hall, Village Road, Monday, July 15, at 6 p.m. Those attending should bring a casserole, salad, or dessert, plus a place setting. Bread and beverages will be provided.

Following the supper, the guest speaker will be Mary Winchenbach of Somerville, founder of Tirdy Works, purveyor of moose-poop jewelry and other unique artifacts. Guaranteed to be scent-free, the all-organic items include the “Poopsicle,” “Deerings,” “Mooseletoe,” “Dingleberries,” and more. Winchenbach will share how she and her partner got started in the “business,” how they find their “material,” and how they fashion their one-of-a-kind creations. Tirdy Works artifacts will be available for purchase after the presentation.

For anyone wishing to attend just the program, it will begin at approximately 6:45 p.m. The program is free, but donations are welcome. For more information, call 594-2457 or 594-8028.
