Rockport — Abe and Ezra LeMole are three years — and, most days, one town — apart.

The brothers live together in Rockland, but attend different Midcoast high schools, with Abe a Mariner at Oceanside High School in Rockland and Ezra a Windjammer at Camden Hills Regional High School in Rockport.

For the first, and final, time in their high school tennis careers, the siblings squared off in an official match, when the Mariners and Windjammers met on Monday afternoon, May 20 on the indoor courts at the Midcoast Recreation Center.

In the end, the younger brother, a freshman, defeated his older sibling, a senior, 8-1 in a pro-set match to capture the victory in the teams' regular-season finales.

Watch video of the match, as well as interviews with the brothers, Camden Hills coach Jesse Simko and Oceanside coach Ken Russell, below.
