Woolwich — Judith Ann Morang, age 74, passed away peacefully at her home April 10, 2019.

Judy was born Oct. 24, 1944, in Belfast to Maurice Arthur Morang and Gertrude L. Ripley, both of Appleton, where she grew up. She went on to graduate from nursing school as a licensed practical nurse, and was employed at Bath Memorial Hospital from 1979 until retirement in 1984. There she met her best friend, Mary Bryan. Judy provided loving care not only to patients, but also to family and friends.

She enjoyed reading, knitting, puzzles, games, music, trips to Bar Harbor, yellow roses and the many events, picnics and gatherings with family and friends.

Judy is forever loved by her best friend, Mary Bryan; her aunt, Grace Dodge, who has always been more like a sister; many children; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Maurice Arthur Morang and Gertrude L Ripley; a brother, Harry Morang, and a sister, Jeanette Morang Oliver.

Per Judy's request, there will be no formal service. Her ashes will be laid to rest at Achorn Cemetery in Rockland. We would like to thank Chans/Home Health and Hospice, as well as family and friends for their compassion and support.

Judy, you are remembered and also your family. Hope was a good place to grow up and I am so glad you found a career and friendship. I remember the family and you and Jeanette especially. Condolences to the family

I met Judy when she was a nurse at the old Rockland Hospital. She was a very caring person & a wonderful friend. RIP Judy. You will be missed by all of us who knew you.
