Weather Brief Mar 15, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - March 15, 2019

Rain showers will clear out late Friday as a cold front moves out to the east. Clouds will continue to linger during the overnight and into Saturday as a trough digs in from the west, touching off snow showers in the mountains of western Maine. Temperatures will hold in the 40s to start off the weekend but cooler and drier air will gradually filter in taking lows down into the teens and 20s and highs in the 30s for St. Patricks Day Sunday despite mostly sunny skies. The sunny and quiet weather will continue into the early week with high temperatures holding steady in the 30s. We'll climb into the 40s during the late week as a cold front moves in from the west, bringing clouds and rain showers back to the Midcoast for Thursday.
