Weather Brief Mar 12, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - March 12, 2019

We are back to sunny skies but cooler air has filtered back in for Tuesday with highs back down to the 30s, but remaining above freezing thanks to sunny skies. The sunshine will continue to hold strong into Wednesday with temperatures a couple degrees milder than we saw Tuesday, reaching the upper 30s. A warm front will move in from the south pushing clouds in through Wednesday afternoon and may touch of a brief rain or snow shower during the overnight.

Another push of mild air will move in for the late week as a broad area of low pressure builds in from the west which lifted the warm front through the region. This will bring highs back to the mid 40s on Thursday then around 50 on Friday as the low pushes a cold front through with rounds of rain showers. The rain will clear into the weekend with the mild air holding on with highs again in the low 50s before cooling into Sunday.
