Walk benefits Veterans Memorial Wall

Rockland — A walk/run was held Oct. 6 to benefit the Midcoast Area Veterans Memorial Wall at the American Legion grounds in Rockland.

The organizers thanked First National bank for staffing the registration table; Sidecountry Sports and Main Street Market for gifts for the winners; Ferraiolo Construction for the water stop, the Coast Guard for its participation, and the Rockland Police Department for traffic control.

The walk/run went from Winslow-Holbrook Square downtown to the American Legion post at 335 Limerock St.
