Weather Brief Oct 04, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - October 4, 2018

Clouds are in place again Thursday as a cold front approaches from the northwest. The best chance for rain along this front will be over northern and western Maine with a lot of these falling apart before reaching the coast during the late evening and overnight. Cooler air will spill in along breezy north winds behind the front Thursday night dropping lows back down to the 40s and 50s with highs holding in the 50s for much of the Midcoast Friday despite sunny skies.

The cool and sunny weather will continue to start off the weekend but a surge of mild air will work in on Sunday as highs climb into the 70s with parts of southwest Maine possibly reaching the low 80s. Cooler air will filter back in for early next week with another warm up expected for the late week along with added clouds and rain chances.
