    Midcoast lens: Exploring the sea

    The Coastal Children’s Museum in Rockland was a happening place Feb. 22. With the end of February break, people were looking for something unique to do. Exploring, discovering and learning about the many wonders of Maine’s coast seemed to be in order. Visitors from Fairfield, Yarmouth, Rockport, Warren and Wiscasset enjoyed the adventure.

    Union to host informational meeting

    Local man keeps animals company during blizzard

    Appleton student wins Knox County Spelling Bee

    It took 14 rounds for Lexi Smith from Appleton Village School to capture the Knox County Spelling Bee.     Warren proposes $2.24 million budget

    Warren officials got a second peek at the annual budget for 2013 at a meeting Feb. 13 and candidates turned in their nomination papers for the available seats on Feb. 12. Interim Town Manager Glenn Aho submitted a $2.24 million budget at the initial budget meeting Feb. 5.
