Spectrum Generations asks the community to vote

Spectrum Generations has been selected by the State Farm Neighborhood Assist program as a semi-finalist for a $25,000 grant in support of the Meals on Wheels program. Two hundred semi-finalists have been selected for this round of consideration. Winners will be selected following a 10-day voting period that goes from April 27 to May 6. The 100 semi-finalists with the most votes will each receive $25,000 grants.

Spectrum Generations’ staff and volunteers prepare and serve thousands of meals each week to homebound older and disabled Mainers in (parts of) Cumberland, Kennebec, Knox (in partnership with Making Communities Happen), Lincoln, Sagadahoc, Somerset, and Waldo counties.
