WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Donald Lee Rhodes passed away, surrounded by love, Dec. 25, 2022. He was born Aug. 17,1943, to Cecil and Virginia Carleton Rhodes in Camden. He grew up in Rockport, and moved to West Palm Beach, Fla. in 1964. It was in Florida that he began a lifelong career in construction, hardware sales and access control. He was a gifted carpenter and could design and build just about anything. He was a dedicated worker, and when he wasn’t working, he was doing projects for family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Joy Rhodes; and his brothers, Carl Rhodes and Freeman “Butch” Hawes. He is survived by his daughters, Dawn Harrison and Dixie Burgos; and grandchildren Katie Harrison, Alee Harrison, Jarred Burgos and Brazil Scinto.
