THOMASTON — Watts Hall Community Arts kicks off the new year and keeps the winter blues at bay with a reprisal of last fall’s popular Dance Party featuring the Watts Hall Band Saturday, Jan. 14, at Watts Hall, 174 Main St.

The 10-piece, vocally driven Watts Hall Band boasts a full horn section, keyboards, saxophones and guitars. The group’s catalog of rock, blues and R&B favorites is guaranteed to turn listeners into dancers.
The high-energy rock ‘n roll dance party runs from 7 to 9:30 p.m. A cash bar by The Block Saloon and a selection of concessions by donation will keep attendees fueled for a great night of dancing.
Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at tinyurl.com/WHBWinterDanceParty.
In the event of inclement weather, the dance party will be held Saturday, Jan. 21. Updates will be posted to the Watts Hall Community Arts Facebook page, found at facebook.com/WattsHallArts.
