AUGUSTA — Committee assignments were announced Tuesday, Jan. 3 for members of the Maine House of Representatives.

House Speaker Rachel Talbot Ross made the appointments.

Senate appointments were announced last week.

Rep. Valli Geiger, D-Rockland, was named to the Labor and Housing Committee; and the Energy, Utilities, and Technology Committee. Geiger is beginning her second consecutive two-year term in the Maine House.

Rep. Victoria Doudera, D-Camden, was named to the Energy and Natural Resources Committee; and the Marine Resources Committee. Doudera is beginning her third consecutive term in the House.

Rep. Ann Matlack, D-St. George, was named to the Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee; and the Taxation Committee. Matlack is beginning her third consecutive term in the Maine House.

Rep. William Pluecker, independent of Warren, was named House chair of the Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry Committee. Pluecker is starting his third consecutive term in the House.

Rep. Clinton Collamore, D-Waldoboro, was named to the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee. Collamore is beginning his first term in the House.

Rep. Stanley Paige Zeigler, D-Montville, was named to the Energy, Utilities, and Technology Committee. He is beginning his fourth consecutive term in the House.

Rep. Holly Eaton, D-Deer Isle, was named to the Marine Resources Committee. Eaton is beginning her first term in the House.
