CAMDEN — A new series of free Friday night concerts take place in the Camden Snow Bowl lodge, 20 Barnestown Road, this winter. Every Friday night from 5 to 7 p.m. there will be music for the masses.
The first show Jan. 6 features this season’s house band, The Little Cornbread Muffins. The group is comprised of excellent local musicians who have banded together to jam some great b-side covers. The tunes are funky, bluesy, smooth and might even rock a little.
The band includes Emmett Lalor on lead vocals and keys, Andre Lascoutx on electric guitar, David Butler on bass, and Jason Dean on drums.
The band is “wicked excited to be laying down some grooves in such an important community space.” Members also thank the Camden Snow Bowl and Snow Dogs for giving them the opportunity to jam inside in winter. Food and beverages are available for purchase.
