Happenings on the Harbor presents: Holiday on the Harbor at Rockport Marine Park. The public is invited to a festive First Night Celebration with food trucks, fire pits, luminaries, music at 4:30 p.m. and the Grand fireworks display at 6 p.m. Weather updates are on the Rockport Harbor Facebook page. Rockin’ In The New Year Dance Party with The Right Track at the Rockport Opera House from 8 to 11 p.m. Welcome 2023 with family and friends. Community Breakfast
The Camden Community Breakfast hosted by Chestnut St. Baptist Church in Camden will be served from 7 to 9 a.m. every Monday morning. All are welcome.

Weekly Parenting Support Group
GEAR Parent Network offers a virtual support group Wednesdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m., for parents and child caregivers. To register call 1-800-264-9224. If there is no participation by 12:30 p.m., the meeting is canceled.

Tai Chi & Qigong in the Amphitheatre
Instructor Anna Dembska will lead tai chi classes for all levels Mondays and Thursdays, from 11 am to noon, by donation. A portion of the donations collected will benefit the Camden Public Library. Read-Aloud for Adults
Every Friday at 11 a.m., on the Camden Public Library’s YouTube Channel and Facebook Page, the library will stream a new recording of local thespian Joseph Coté reading aloud selections from a wide variety of books of fiction and non-fiction.

Creative Art Afternoons
This after-school activity for kids is on Thursdays from 4 to 5 p.m. in the library’s Picker Room. One-hour projects are facilitated by Youth Librarian Miss Amy. Call 236-3440 to sign up for the September sessions.

Walsh History Center Hour
