ANAHEIM, Calif. — Two Flow Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitors — Hayleigh Martz and Meg Gleasner — secured world titles on Thursday, Dec. 8 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
The 18-year-old Midcoast residents competed in the IBJJF Nogi World Championship.
Martz of Rockport won gold in the women’s adult blue belt Open/Absolute Division and bronze in the women’s medium heavyweight division.
Gleasner of Appleton won gold in the women’s blue belt featherweight division.
The two train at the Rockland-based Flow Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
