ROCKLAND — Rockland police are investigating vandalism at a local bank.

According to police in a news release issued Dec. 10, on Tuesday, Nov. 29, Rockland Savings Bank reported that its automated teller machine screen had been destroyed, causing significant damage and rendering the machine inoperable.

Through the responding officers’ investigation, they identified three juvenile suspects, who had been involved in several incidents the day before at the Rockland Harbor Hotel and the Rockland Public Library. All three juveniles were charged with aggravated criminal mischief.

The most recent offenses continue a surge in youth crime that has plagued the city throughout the year.
