He was a master carpenter, and in his free time enjoyed using scrap wood to make squirrel stands and small wall cabinets that were used in a variety of ways and anything else he thought would come in handy for someone.

He was predeceased by his mother, Gloria M. (Potter) Winslow Smith; his grandparents, Charles and Frances Winslow and Frank and Helen Potter; and his long-time companions who gave him many years of love and friendship, Meeka, his black lab, and his cat Ruby.

He is survived by his father William M Winslow of West Rockport; sisters Billie Jo (Winslow) Closson and husband Anthony (Tony) Closson of Warren, and Kristy J (Winslow) Curtis of Searsport; aunts and uncles Nola and Maitland Pine of Rockland, Linda and Ashley (Roy) Rooney of Searsport, Frances (Pat) Gross of Winterport and George and Rose Winslow of Lincolnville; many cousins; three nieces, Niki Norwood and husband Paul (PJ) Norwood of Searsmont, Rachel J (Curtis) MacFarland and husband Max MacFarland of Searsport and Renae J Traves and husband Richard Traves of Searsport; and one nephew, Alan Blackington of Waldoboro; 15 great-nieces and nephews; eight great-great-grandnieces and nephews; and his closest and best friend from early childhood on, Lawrence (Larry) Wade of West Rockport.

He will be sadly missed, but always remembered with fond memories by his family and his many friends.
