WALDOBORO — Three up and three down as Medomak Valley wrestlers enjoyed their initial home- and season-opening quad-meet on Saturday, Dec. 10.
On the day, the Panthers beat Winslow 54-16, Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield 48-30 and Erskine Academy of South China 36-30.

106 pounds — Medomak Valley had double-forfeits with Winslow, Maine Central Institute and Erskine Academy.
113 pounds — Nathan Staples won by forfeit over Winslow, Maine Central Institute and Erskine Academy.
120 pounds — Mariah Young pinned Elizabeth Dionne, Win, 0:53; won by forfeit over Maine Central Institute; and was pinned by Parker Hunter, EA, at 0:06.
126 pounds — Colby Benner pinned Addison Duplessie, Win, at 2:52; won by forfeit over Maine Central Institute; and was pinned by Wallace Pooler, EA, at 2:42.
132 pounds — Nathan Legere won by forfeit over Winslow; was pinned by Keith Cook, MCI, at 0:37; and was pinned by Owen Robichard, EA, at 4:28.
138 pounds — Zach Steeves won by forfeit over Winslow and Maine Central Institute. Michael Wall was pinned by Giacomo Smith, EA, 0:47.
145 pounds — Shamus Pease won by forfeit over Winslow, Maine Central Institute and Erskine Academy.
