WALDOBORO — Kylea Stone of Warren is the recipient of the Medomak Valley High School’s Principal Award.

Stone is a member of the MVHS National Honor Society, and a high honors/honor roll student for all quarters of her high school career. Stone received the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Medal as a junior. A member of the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute, Stone is also an MVHS Math team member, and a Peers Assisting with Sincerity mentor. Stone has participated in the Maine State Science fair and has adeptly managed the basketball team. Receiving academic excellence awards in science and social studies, Stone has maintained employment at Moody’s Diner and has also worked at Townline Daycare.
