PORTLAND — Michael Thomas Clark of Appleton passed away on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, in Portland.

Mike was born on April 13, 1973, to Stanley Clark and Virginia Pipicello Clark in Camden, Maine. He grew up in Owls Head and Appleton, graduating from Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis, Minn. Through the years he resided in Maine, Minnesota, and Texas. Mike met his wife Tracy in Texas and in 2007 they relocated to the family farm in Appleton.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 16 years, Tracy; his father and step-mother Stan and Diana Clark of Texas; brother- and sister-in-law Peter and Sally Esponnette of Freeport; niece Beth Esponnette and husband Trevor Petach; nephew Tom Esponnette and wife Jaime; great-niece Alexandra; great-nephew Zachary; uncle Barry Pipicello; cousins Karen Peters and Kathy Watson; aunt Jeanne; and his constant companion Loki.

He was predeceased by his mother Virginia; and his grandparents Norm and Mary Clark and Sam and Irene Pipicello.

Private services for the family will be held at the Clark Family Cemetery in Appleton.

Things will never be the same — but my world is better for the years I had with my husband.
