ROCKLAND — The lineup has been announced for the 2023 North Atlantic Blues Festival and advance tickets are on sale at discounted prices via the website, northatlanticbluesfestival.com.

The 30th annual NABF will take place Saturday and Sunday, July 15 and 16, in Harbor Park. As always, the first day’s festival performances will be followed by the Saturday night club crawl open to all ages and free of charge. Rockland’s Main Street will be closed to traffic as regional bands set up and play along the street. Friday and Saturday night music in local bars is not an NABF event, no wristbands are issued. Some establishments may have a cover charge.

Performers for 2023 are: Gabe Stillman; Jontavious Willis; Bernard Allison; Selwyn Birchwood; Shemekia Copeland; Jureesa McBride with special guest Paul Nelson; Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne; Joanna Connor; Mr. Sipp; Southern Hospitality featuring JP Soars, Damon Fowler and Victor Wainwright; and, playing between acts both days, Chris Gill. Students from the Midcoast Music Academy Blues Camp kick off the Sunday performances.

Tickets make great holiday gifts. They are $40 for either day, $70 for both in advance. At the gate, the prices will be $45/$80. Advance prices end July 10, 2023, at midnight. All tickets sales are final. The NABF website also has information on lodging for those coming from out of town; rooms sell out quickly for blues festival weekend.
