ROCKLAND — Bartlett Woods Retirement Community is pleased to announce the publication of “The 25th Anniversary Cookbook.” The non-profit independent and assisted living apartment house, located at 20 Bartlett Drive in Rockland, continues to serve Midcoast Maine families since 1998.

Titled “Pass the Plate,” this project is the first of many 25th anniversary events. It contains beloved recipes from Bartlett residents, family members, and staff. It captures special moments of meal preparation, which the Bartlett Woods extended family has enjoyed over the years. From soup to nuts, readers will make a new delectable discovery or reconnect with an old forgotten favorite when perusing the pages. Beverages, appetizers, mains, and desserts are included – even breads and candies. Included is the famous Bartlett Peach Sangria.

“This special project is a fundraising effort to support our 25th anniversary community celebration,” confirmed Executive Director Mary Eads. “Our enthusiastic Bartlett Woods family has made the cookbook possible. We are so very grateful for the participation of all who contributed their special recipes and memories.”

Bartlett Woods is now taking pre-orders for the 100-recipe book just in time for the holiday season. The cookbook costs $15.
